Continuing Education

This is a list of current approvals, which will continue to be updated as new applications are approved. Please note that course titles have changed with the recent addition of coursework. More information to come on approvals for the new Behavior Assessment and Planning with Evidence-Based Interventions courses. For all continuing education, please check with your licensing or accrediting organization if you have any questions about specific accreditation in your local area for your profession.


Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification

This coursework has been pre-approved as continuing education by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.


Minnesota Department of Human Services

Minnesota Department of Human Services has approved completion of the following Autism Certification Center online courses to fulfill the Autism 101 training requirement for the Individual Provider for the Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) Benefit.


National Association of Social Workers - Ohio Chapter

The National Association of Social Workers - Ohio Chapter - has approved the ASD Strategies in Action courses for CEUs. NASW is recognized as a Continuing Education Approver for social workers by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. If you are not a resident of Ohio, it is recommended that you check with your state board for approval.


Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board

This activity has been approved for continuing education by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board specific to the clinical practice of speech-language pathology. If you are not a resident of Ohio, it is recommended that you check with your state board for approval.


Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Association (OCCRRA)

This coursework has received the Ohio Approved (OA) Designation.

Receiving credit for completing Autism Certification Center coursework via OCCRRA is a two-step process.

Step 1: Add your OPIN to your ACC account(s):

  1. Log in to https://autismcertificationcenter.org/login
  2. Click on first/last name drop-down in the upper righthand corner
  3. Click on "Profile"
  4. Click on "CE Providers" Tab
  5. Add OPIN
    Note: This will generate a downloadable OCCRRA certificate on the ACC Dashboard for your staff's personal records/employer documentation. Please do not send these certificates to OCCRRA or to ACC Support unless requested.

‚ÄčStep 2: Add ACC Courses to your OCCRRA.org training registry:

  1. Go to OCCRRA.org
  2. Click on "Find Training"
  3. Search for "ASD Strategies in Action"
  4. Enter an "To Date" past 6/30/2020 (e.g. 12/31/2020)
  5. Add ALL course(s) to the OCCRRA profile
    Note: Many Faces of Autism (prerequisite) is required for ALL verifications.

Once registration has been completed, please send us an email with your full name (noting any spelling differences, nicknames, or maiden names that may have been used), OPIN number, and email address. Please do not send passwords.

Verification takes place 2 - 4 weeks from the date listed on your certificate(s) of completion.

Most delays are caused by missing information in the OCCRRA system. OCCRRA.org is not owned or operated by Autism Certification Center, it is an online platform that the ACC Support Team uses to apply credit for you/your staff members. If the steps above are not completed by each participant in full, our team is not able to move forward with verification.


Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board

This coursework has been approved as Continuing Professional Education (CPE) by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. If you are not a resident of Ohio, it is recommended that you check with your state board to determine continuing education requirements in your state.

Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board

The Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board has approved ASD Strategies in Action for Ohio occupational therapy continuing education. If you are not a resident of Ohio, it is recommended that you check with your state board to determine continuing education requirements in your state.


Ohio Psychological Association - Office of Mandatory Continuing Education

The Ohio Psychological Association - Office of Mandatory Continuing Education (OPA-MCE) has approved The Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) as a provider for CEUs. If you are not a resident of Ohio, it is recommended that you check with your state board for approval.


Washington State Developmental Disabilities

Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration has approved the following courses for:
